What a life!

Well, we had a wonderful Christmas with both my family and James's family. It brought all the usual joys of the holiday season and a few tender moments also as we remembered our sweet mom and grandma who wasn't with us.
We brought in the New Year with a bang! (Not really - we slept through it!) We started the doings to get a new place up here on our property. Not that we don't love this place that is here but it is WAY TOO SMALL! Our house in the valley officially went on the market today! We are praying for a quick sale in this slow market so we can get out from under this huge payment. We will be putting a 2730 square foot triple wide on the property up here. We are all excited and can't wait to have space!!
James spend a week at the Mayo Clinic hospital last week. He was seen up here and helicoptered to the valley because his cat scan showed a possible rupture in his bowel. The surgeon decided to put him on antibiotics and observe him a few days to see how things went. After a priesthood blessing and a lot of prayers on his behalf he was miraculously cured! The doctors don't know what happenend or why but he is better and was finally able to come home. We feel very blessed with how things turned out. I know the Lord was involved.
Kamery auditioned for and got the role of Tess in the high school musical this year. It is Crazy For You which is based on George Gershwin music. She is the head dance instructor so she will be having a lot of tap dance and jazz scences. She is very excited about it. The play will be on April 24th -26th and May 1-3 at the Show Low Auditorium. Come if you can!
Brady was voted Student of the Month for January for the Clay Springs school. He got to have his parents come have a special lunch with him and received a special certificate,t-shirt and a toy lava lamp that lights up in lots of different colors.
Jace was voted Student of the Week for the second time at the Show Low Junior High School. I don't know what he does at school that is so great that makes everyone love him, but I wishhe would do it at home too! ha He is a good kid, he is just not too fond of housework! What kid is right?
Tye is starting to talk a bit now. He says "Lello" (hello) and "bye" on his toy cell phone. He says "tain too" (thank you) and "ta he is" (there he is, while playing where's the baby). If you ask him a question he says "yeah". He is the most active little boy I have ever seen. He can destroy the house in minutes all by himself. Then he smiles, hugs you, kisses you, or laughs and you have to forgive him.
Life is good and happy at our house!
