Work, work, work!

Well, I got inspired to start my "spring" cleaning a little early this year. When I took my Christmas decorations down every thing looked so bare that I started digging around in the garage for decorative items to fill spaces. This resulted in a whole house overhaul. We ended up moving furniture around and switching bedrooms up so we could create a guest bedroom. We did a lot of organizing and getting rid of things, as well as organizing the garage into an exercise room. All this cleaning created mountains of laundry since we mucked out all of the little kids rooms where cleaning constitutes shoving it under a bed. We aren't quite finished with the garage yet, but we are enjoying the fruits of our labors as things are feeling nice and cozy. We just have to keep Tye the Tornado under control. That kid can wreck a room faster that you can say "Stop!" The rest of the family are the "Storm Chasers". We chase Tye the Tornado and try to keep destruction at a minimum. He got a head start on us today and got a ketchup bottle out of the fridge and dumped it all over our suede furniture and carpet in the upstairs sitting room. Thanks goodness for our wet vac!
In other family news, Kamery and Jace are both in the spring musical again this year. They are doing Oklahoma! Kamery is playing the role of Aunt Eller and Jace is one of the dancer/cowboys. It sounds like it will be a lot of fun. It will be put on sometime in March. Jace decided to switch his schedule around a bit this semester so that he can be in band again. We are excited to see him pick up the saxophone again. Brady just got back from his Klondike scouting trip. He said it was very cold and lots of fun! We sure do have good scout leaders in our ward. The kids are still loving life here in Snowflake. Life is good!
